An Artist has the right to Live
The right to be unique and to reflect the diversity of Life, not to be penalized for artistic or cultural difference
The right to appropriate housing
The right to adequate healthcare - artists are human beings
The right to a place where their work has a reasonable chance to be to presented
The right to a reasonable chance to prepare their work ie. practice and rehearse
The right to be adequately compensated for their presented work
The right to opportunities to interact with the larger community
Artists should no longer be shunted to the side
The role of the artist is to reflect and inspire the community at large
